Greetings, friend of Mercy Manor. We are launching a new communication effort to keep our supporters informed, encouraged, and connected. This is our first official newsletter, and we are grateful for every prayer warrior who continues to lift this ministry up. There is much to do, and your support means everything.

Facility update
We officially own the property, and activity is in full swing. Current efforts include:
- Meeting with contractors to obtain bids
- Pursuing Christian Volunteer Builders for construction support
- Recruiting a project manager
- Engaging an architectural firm to update drawings and create a complete supply list
Once the plans are finalized, we will begin gathering the materials needed — through donation, purchase, and every creative avenue available.
Staffing
We are preparing to begin recruitment for our Executive Director. The job description will be finalized at our October board meeting. After that, we will circulate it through local churches and community networks.
This role will be pivotal. Much of the early groundwork will transition to her leadership, and she will oversee recruitment of the remaining staff needed to operate Mercy Manor.
Fundraising
Please continue to pray as we submit multiple grant applications. We are also scheduling meetings with churches and community groups to build our monthly donor base. Monthly giving is essential to establishing stable, predictable income for daily operations once the home opens.
Furnishings
We are blessed with generous donors ready to help furnish the home. One local gentleman has already built a long dining table and is crafting twelve single beds with mattresses. Several of these will be convertible into bunk beds for children if needed. Additional donors are standing by as we finalize our supply list.
Fencing & security
We are actively exploring fencing options and hope to fully fence and gate the property to ensure safety and privacy for the women and children we will serve.
Volunteers
We are seeking a volunteer "Volunteer Coordinator" to help organize and grow our volunteer community. Requests to serve are already coming in, and we want to steward this enthusiasm well. If you feel called to help, please let us know.
Thank you
Thank you for walking this journey with us. Your prayers, encouragement, and support are building a place of hope, healing, and restoration. May God richly bless you for the love you pour into Mercy Manor.
