Not a bed. Everything. Her room, her food, her counseling, her case management, the ride to the job interview, the shampoo — all of it, for one woman, for one month, for five hundred dollars.
We are not going to dress that up with invented line items. Every figure below is simply that one number, divided or multiplied. Choose the share you can carry.
That last one deserves a sentence. Six thousand dollars is a woman's whole year — the full twelve months it takes to get her clean, get her working, get the trauma treated, and get her out the other side standing on her own. There are not many things you can buy for six thousand dollars that a person is still using in thirty years.

Monthly donors form the Faithfulness Circle — the steady, dependable core of support that lets Mercy Manor plan real staffing and real care, not just react to what comes in. Circle members receive a quarterly update on the women the home is serving (in the aggregate, never identifying individuals) and the progress toward opening day.

Is my donation tax-deductible?
Yes. Mercy Manor Home for Women is a registered 501(c)(3) public charity (EIN 93-2122542), and gifts are tax-deductible to the full extent allowed by law. You'll receive a written acknowledgment of your gift for your records.
Where does my money go before opening day?
The building is secured, so every gift right now goes toward the last stretch: furnishing the home, hiring and training staff, and stocking the everyday essentials — from bedding to a working vehicle — that turn a secured building into a working home for women in recovery.
Is a monthly gift or a one-time gift more helpful?
Both matter, and we're grateful for either. Monthly gifts are how we plan staffing and services with confidence, which is why we ask donors to consider them first. You can change or cancel a monthly gift at any time.
Can I give stock, through a donor-advised fund, or in my estate plan?
Yes — contact us and we'll walk through it with you. Many employers also match charitable gifts dollar for dollar; your HR department can tell you if yours does.
Financial transparency
